K2 Backcountry Touring Skis & Climbing Skins
Description
Ski the backcountry!
How do I select my backcountry touring ski size?
Backcountry skis sizes (cm) are recommended based on skier height. The lowest height range for a ski (ex. 5'2 for a 163cm ski) is recommended for advanced/expert skiers. The high end of the suggested height range (ex. 5'9" for a 163cm ski) is recommended for beginner skiers.
Featuring: K2 Waybacks
Featuring an All-Terrain Rocker, a gradual rise in the tip for great versatility in all conditions, with a low, short rise in the tail for added control in variable snow. Narrow enough for a spring tour but wide enough to navigate variable conditions.
Alpine Touring Bindings
Marker Kingpin 13 Bindings
Find these bindings on our K2 Waybacks!
The Kingpin 10 or 13 combines the lightweight ISI pin toe piece with an alpine heel piece including 0°/7°/13° climbing aid. This makes it very easy to walk on any terrain and ensures great descents with outstanding performance and top-level release functionality. The binding is therefore perfect for ambitious backcountry and freeride touring enthusiasts. A very stiff, carbon-reinforced front with an ISI toe piece makes the binding easier to step into, as a wide footprint with integrated stop automatically positions and aligns your boot. Kinematically optimised pin levers then allow the pins to snap shut with just a gentle push. Made in Germany.
Fritschi Tecton
